About Us
The aim of the Nursery is to treat all children as individuals within a warm and welcoming environment where they can play and learn happily. Great emphasis is placed on multicultural awareness and equal opportunities and so children are taught to recognise similarities and celebrate differences.
The Nursery prides itself on having long serving staff who are all qualified to a minimum of level 3. All staff are DBS checked and vetted throughly to ensure they are suitable to work within our Nursery. Staff members are encouraged to constantly update their training and knowledge and so attend regular training sessions within the Nursery and with Doncaster Early Years. Specific training will be sourced if it is required to ensure we are able to meet a child’s individual needs.
Close links with Doncaster Early Years and other professionals such as Speach and Language therapists, Physiotherapists and Cantley and Bessacarr Childrens Centre ensure effective multi agency working enabling us to access support and signpost families as and when the need is identified.
The Nursery operates a full and comprehensive set of policies and procedures ensuring the Nursery meets all legislative requirements and ensures good practice guidelines are adhered to and surpassed. These are available for parents and carers to see along with the latest Ofsted report in the front lobby.
